We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate, Relationship Management .
In this role you will:
Support BD activities & prospect meetings with relationship management team
Oversee the client onboarding process, act as the primary point of contact for clients, create & update MG record in CME
Support relationship management team to handle the assigned portfolio including but not limited to non-financial risks, regulatory compliance matters, periodic reviews and reporting
Provide effective and efficient operational support to the relationship management team in particular on complex relationships and complicated operation requests
Identify business opportunities via daily contact with clients at different levels, increase HSBC's share of wallet with clients
Share best practices within and among the relationship team or internal working partners, provide input and suggestions on process streamlining and various control mechanisms
Work closely with product partners to develop and deliver a comprehensive proposition to PE and VC Funds clients & their invested portfolio company clients
Continually assess operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economics or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technologies
Project manage any existing product maintenance, work with IVB global project team & other internal partners
To be successful you will need:
Basic knowledge on PE and VC Funds sector
Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills
Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner
High level of customer-centric mind set with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services
Excellent team player and self-starter, be able to set and manage own agenda, while ensuring alignment with stakeholder priorities
Good understanding of the core HSBC products, ability to identify the business opportunity and strengthen the client relationship via providing good client service
Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved
Coach, knowledge sharing and provide guidance wherever necessary for team member
Relevant experience in banking, preferably with HK and China market experience
Language skills in spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage. Excellent spoken and written English
