Associate Vice President, Distribution Operations

We are currently looking for a Client Service Associate Vice President to join our Client Service team within Platform Operations at Clearstream Fund Centre AG, an integral part of Clearstream Fund Services area. You will be supporting the day-to-day processes and procedures carried out by Client Services. These will include, but are not limited to answering client queries, onboarding of new business partners and funds to the platform, validating external reports, troubleshooting, and representing the team with the implementation of internal projects. This is a client facing role and you will have direct interaction with external business partners. 

We are a fast-growing business within Clearstream / Deutsche Börse group and manage legal, administrative, and financial relationships with external fund provider companies on behalf of the fund platform for business partners.

Tasks / Responsibilities

• Assume ownership of B2B business partner onboarding projects (with both Asset Managers and Distribution Partners) and to collaborate at senior management level


• Pro-actively collaborate with new and/or existing B2B business partners in the context of onboarding new funds to the platform


• Act as the first point of contact for our business partners managing day-to-day queries


• Manage the maintenance of the client hotline during business hours


• Develop long-term relationships with business partners


• Provide high level support to the sales/business development teams by conducting internal and external research, analysis, and investigations


• Represent the client service team as a subject matter expert in meetings (both virtual and in person) with existing business partners as well as prospects


• Support the development and ongoing optimization of internal processes with key internal stakeholders and to provide input on how to improve the operational efficiency

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Years of Experience: At least 7 years of experience in servicing B2B business partners


• Education Qualifications: University degree in Economics, Finance, IT or business administration


• You have a good understanding of the financial services industry and the Banking and Asset Management areas particular


• You conduct yourself with a high client orientated attitude


• Strong communication skills, resilience, sovereignty, and team spirit


• Proficiency in written and spoken English – additional language skills considered an advantage


• Your profile is rounded off by very good MS Office application knowledge
