About the role

The Channel R&M Officer (Pre-Processing) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new users. This involves pre-processing applications, verifying information, and ensuring compliance with internal bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

* Review and verify application forms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
* Perform signature verification against authorized mandates.
* Validate data entered on forms and ensure consistency across documents.
* Conduct necessary screening checks as required by policy and regulation.
* Update internal systems with document status and relevant information.
* Respond to inquiries and follow up on pending items in a timely and accurate manner.
* Maintain and update application tracking spreadsheets.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to team goals.
* Undertake other duties as assigned or required for operational needs.

Key Performance Indicators

* Meeting or exceeding established cut-off times and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Maintaining 100% accuracy in data entry and verification processes.
* Providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests.

Requirements

• Diploma/degree holder, ideally with relevant KYC experience in banking operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
• Competent understanding internet security best practices.
• Prior experience in pre-processing, signature verification, or compliance checks is highly desirable.
