Associate/AVP, Financial Reporting

The Role
The position is responsible for day-to-day finance operations and regulatory BAU for a MAS-regulated capital markets entity. Key responsibilities include financial close support, regulatory and tax reporting, client money segregation, risk-based capital computation, and liaison with auditors and tax advisors. The role also supports ad-hoc finance and regulatory initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent)

• Around 5 years' experience in audit, financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting within a securities or capital markets environment

• Solid knowledge of MAS regulations applicable to CMS licensees

• Understanding of financial products such as securities, bonds and derivatives

• Strong English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
