Introduction Global Operations Global Operations (GO) serves as a value partner by delivering end-to-end investment support services to advance investment strategies. With a focus on operational excellence and scalability through digital innovation, GO bring together all investment support services spanning from deal advisory, valuation, trade and life cycle operations, enterprise and core data management, data and analytics enablement, investment accounting and sustainability reporting to deliver business outcomes.
Global Transaction Services The Global Transaction Services Team (GTS) manages and delivers E2E trade support and settlement activities in an efficient manner whilst ensuring effective compliance and controls. The team also manages and maintains our institutional relationships with service providers such as banks, trading partners and other trade support services.
Responsibilities - Provide support to trading and investment teams
- Validate trade details against counterparties' confirmations and matching in CTM Omgeo
- Record investments across various asset classes
- Manage corporate actions and proxy voting events, including monitoring upcoming events, recording entitlements and notifying relevant internal stakeholders
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for decision outcome and process instructions
- Drive ongoing internal process enhancements through automation based on industry best practices
- Assist and maintain SOP documentation
Requirements - Degree holder with relevant experience in middle / back-office securities operations is preferred
- Quick learner, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
- Able to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial markets and products
- A meticulous team player with initiative who can work well independently
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in automation tools such as UIPATH, data visualisation and analytics tool such as Qlik, Tableau, Snowflake is an added advantage
