Associate/Vice President, Structured Finance (Trade & Commodity Finance)

Job Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible to handle Know-Your-Customer processes in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements including client onboardings, periodic AML reviews, and daily compliance screenings.
• Support Structured Commodity Finance team in business development, legal documentation, account opening/electronic banking system set up, and other administrative functions.
• Assist Relationship Managers in handling clients’ requests; to follow up on primary and secondary trade transactions inquiries; and any other duties relating to portfolio management.
• Assist in annual/interim reviews of the credit portfolio; including follow up on monitoring reports from Credit Admin.
• Oversee intern training.
• Cover the Assistant Relationship Manager for our German Desk team in case of absence
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or comparable
• At least 5 years of experience in the banking and finance industry
• Possess both general banking and trade finance knowledge
• Experience in the area of Structured Trade and/or Commodity Financing will be an advantage
• Independent, self-motivated, with strong communication, positive attitude and good analytical skills
