[What the role is]
What the role is: The Education & Manpower Development (E&MD) team oversees policies and programmes which aim to build a skilled arts workforce that will shape Singapore’s cultural development.
The Project Manager will be part of the Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award (CMYAA) secretariat team on administrative and coordination matters. These include collation of nominations, data entry, compilation of trends and statistics and coordination of assessment meetings. The role will proactively manage and coordinate award ceremony preparations such as appointment and coordination of vendors for event management, design, photography, and video production.

Processing of CMYAA nominations, including preparing nomination summaries, checking nomination materials, liaising with NAC and arts stakeholders, managing nomination related queries from the public, setting up meetings, contacting panel members, and preparing materials for panellists
Preparation for Award Ceremony in November, including appointment of event management company and related vendors, liaising with vendors, managing guestlist and RSVP and, collating information on recipients and guests, managing RSVP.
Cleaning and maintenance of CM Fund and YAA grant masterlist including, desktop research to update records and data entry etc.
Any other duties which support the smooth execution of CMYAA process
[What we are looking for]
What we are looking for:
Preferably at least two years of experience in project or event management, although entry level applicants are welcome if they demonstrate relevant competencies
Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills
Good collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders, vendors and internal team members
Good command of written English, proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and comfortable working with data, including data entry, tracking, and basic analysis
Able to work independently and collaboratively, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements
Interest and involvement in the arts will be advantageous
