Audit Senior

About the role

As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse range of clients. Based in the Central-East Region, this full-time position will see you providing strategic and in-depth financial analysis, ensuring our clients' accounts are accurate and compliant.
 

What you'll be doing

• Plan, carry out and complete audits of financial statements, identifying risks and areas of concern
• Evaluating internal controls and recommending process improvements
• Liaising with clients to gather information and address queries
• Preparing financial statements, audit reports and presenting findings to management
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in external auditing
• Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards and compliance regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients at all levels
• A team player with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff
• A recognised degree or professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, ISCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, etc.), or in pursuit of.
