Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Singapore

Job Type: Contract 12 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Watermelon, or similar.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Perform automated testing to identify, report, and track defects and ensure software quality.

Develop and execute performance testing and security testing strategies as needed.

Participate in code reviews to ensure test coverage and adherence to best practices.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design test cases accordingly.

Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Watermelon, or similar.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Knowledge of API testing and related tools.

Understanding of version control systems like Git.

Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools as needed.
