Job Description - Avaloq Application Manager

Job Description

As an Avaloq Application Manager , you will contribute to further development in LGT's international environment and take on the following tasks:

Monitor and control daily installation and deployment processes in the Avaloq environment
Provide support in incident and defect management processes, including the analysis and resolution of application-related issues, and implementing workarounds and fixes
Collaborate closely between support, operational, and development teams, and coordinate with application users as necessary
Identify and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
Participate and contribute in projects and global initiatives

You will be working in product oriented agile delivery teams with key stakeholders in APAC and Europe. Your line team is mainly located in Singapore.

Requirements

Completed education in computer science or a related field
At least 3 years of experience with Avaloq, ideally with Avaloq certification
Solid experience in operation and maintenance of complex application environments
Experience with Avaloq ADAI and/or DevOps automation tools (especially GitLab) is an advantage
Experience in release management is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle database technologies, with ability to perform application related troubleshooting and optimization, is an advantage
Proficiency in agile processes, strong quality awareness, an autonomous and structured work approach, and excellent communication skills
Good command of spoken and written English
Experience in the banking or financial industry is an advantage
