AVP - Financial Reporting | Systematic Trading Firm

We are seeking a highly motivated AVP - Finance to join a leading systematic crypto trading firm in Singapore. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring strong financial controls in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with strong analytical skills and the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-growth setting.

1. Prepare and review full-set of account and financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
2. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
3. Oversee daily accounting tasks including bank reconciliations and expenses
4. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements
5. Prepare Singapore tax filings, GST returns, and tax compliance matters
6. Monitor cashflow and capital and comply with the MAS regulations
7. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability of finance operations

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
2. Qualified in CPA, ACCA or equivalent
3. 3–8 years of experience in Big 4 audit plus financial reporting, accounting (preferably within financial services, systematic trading firms, venture capital or crypto/digital assets industries)
4. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and MAS requirements
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-savvy and high-performing environment
6. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
