Overview of Division/Department

Loan Operations & Agency (LOA) comprises of Loans, Guarantee team & Agency team.
LOA is responsible for booking loans, guarantees, invoice discount financing and securities into G-base, effecting Swift payments as well as administering syndicated facilities as Facility/Security Agent

Job Responsibilities

• Review and comment on loan documentation to ensure compliance with approved terms and conditions and operational feasible in the capacity of Facility Agent / Security Agent
  
• Ensure completion of loan documentation and conditions complied before loan disbursements
  
• Handle and liaise with borrowers and lenders on waivers, amendments / consent requests
  
• Monitor and facilitate operational matters which include loan drawdowns, rollovers, prepayments, rate fixing between borrower and lenders
  
• Monitor and follow up with borrowers/lenders on timely submission of documents such as financials and regulatory documents required under loan agreements and by regulatory authorities
  
• Prepare and process related SWIFT payments
  
• Other duties which include preparation of internal reports, audit confirmations and MAS Returns, projects and UATs as assigned
  
• Dual role functions as maker and checker
  

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Words & Excel & PowerPoint
  
• Knowledge of some corporate banking products will be ideal
  
• Good command of written / spoken English
  
• Good interpersonal communication skills
  
• A team player and active independent contributor
  
• Diligent, meticulous, organised, able to multi-task
  
• Knowledge of SWIFT payment
  
• Open mindset with willingness to learn and receptive to changes
