AVP / VP, Reference Data Management

As the VP Data Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering enterprise data capabilities that drive investment decision-making across public and private markets. This senior leadership role involves designing strategic data solutions, managing the Investment Book of Record (IBOR), and developing robust reference data frameworks.

You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Investment, Risk, Technology, and Operations to implement scalable data services that enable new investment strategies, products, and markets. By establishing industry best practices and strategic partnerships, you will help build a unified, resilient, and future-ready data ecosystem for the firm.

• Enable Scale & Innovation: Empower the firm to scale seamlessly into new asset classes, structures, products, and markets with rock-solid data foundations.

• Drive Data Confidence: Improve enterprise-wide trust in data utilized for critical investment decision-making, risk management, and regulatory reporting.

• Lead Transformation: Spearhead modernizing initiatives that evolve our data platforms, operating models, and governance frameworks into a sustainable, future-ready ecosystem.

• End-to-End Data Ownership: Provide strategic direction for enterprise reference data capabilities underpinning the full investment lifecycle—from onboarding and structuring to downstream risk, valuation, and performance reporting.

• MDM Ecosystem Evolution: Take accountability for the design, governance, and long-term evolution of the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) ecosystem.

• Framework Enforcement: Establish and enforce robust data governance and stewardship frameworks that balance rigorous control with scalability and business usability.

• Transformative Initiatives: Lead the modernization of reference data platforms, driving automation, efficiency, and operating model redesigns.

• Quality & Controls: Oversee reference data quality, control frameworks, and issue-resolution protocols across the data lifecycle.

• Vendor & Forum Representation: Provide executive oversight on vendor and managed service partnerships. Represent MDM and reference data strategies at senior governance forums and enterprise steering committees.

• Team Development: Set high expectations, coach, and mentor a high-performing team, building deep data expertise and a strong leadership bench.
