Job Description - AVP/VP, Loan Management

Permanent headcount, based in Singapore
Leading corporate firm specializing in transportation, maritime, shipping

Responsibilities would include:

Support execution of financing transactions, review of loan documentation and leading the loan administration (including covenant monitoring, managing incoming payments and accounts)
Engaging dialogues with banks on loan enquiries and loan amendments, vetting loan documents, keeping track of SPV financial performance
Process and review loan documentation for drawdown.
Monitor covenants with banks and recommending corrective actions or amendments to financial documents
Track and monitor loan portfolio, including interest costs, loan covenants and reviewing debt financing needs
Prepare loan reports for submission if necessary, or other reports required for investor and headquarter reporting

Profile of ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
6-10 years of banking experience, in a loan middle office / loan portfolio management or administrative function
Able to oversee loan documentation and administration process independently, understand loan drawdown
Shipping/ Transportation/ Maritime sector exposure is advantageous
Excellent self-motivation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion
Good verbal and written communication ability
Meticulous, proactive, diligent with keen attention to details while working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to work well with different functions and levels (high visibility to C-level stakeholders and HQ)
