Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities
Handle a portfolio of Insurance clients assigned. Responsible for defending existing clientele, meeting financial targets, and drive growth of one-bank revenue share of products and services.
Develop strong business relationships with clients and take ownership of holistic client engagement with different parts of the Bank at all levels. Main internal and external contact point for all matters relating to the clients.
Active account planning and having a strategy to identify and leverage the bank's suite of products and services in GTS Cash and Trade, Securities Services, Global Financial Markets, Financing to cross sell and expand product coverage.
Acquire new-to-bank Insurance clients to expand the portfolio.
Ensures all client queries are addressed promptly when they arise and daily account operations carried out smoothly.
Having good understanding of the Insurer business drivers, regulations, buying behaviour, investment requirements and problems to be solved will be an advantage.
Works closely with internal stakeholders such as product partners, credit, KYC, operations, account services, middle office, consumer banking to ensure that business objectives are met and delivered.
Possess credit skills and understand FI balance sheet. Have good grasp of credit drivers and ability to structure financing transactions
Be abreast and apply industry developments, regulatory changes, new market entrants, competitive analysis and evolving trends to be ahead of competition.
Have good grasp of and adhere to all KYC and client onboarding compliance and governance requirements.
Requirements
A recognised Bachelor's degree
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in corporate and investment banking
Strong client management skills
Effective communicator with good influencing and negotiation skills.
A self-starter who is adaptable, resourceful, independent, driven and results-oriented.
Good collaborator with external and internal parties, incl with overseas colleagues
Team player who is able to multi-task and work under pressure to complete assignments/projects under tight deadlines.
Good AML/CFT knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and data.
