Job Description

Advise clients on complex banking and finance transactions, including fund finance, corporate finance, asset finance, securitisation, capital market.
Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to local and international laws.
Conduct thorough legal research to support client needs and address unique challenges.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Support business development by identifying opportunities and building client relationships.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of banking and finance industry trends and regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all client requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Banking & Finance Associate should have:

A strong academic background in law with relevant professional qualifications.
A qualified lawyer from Singapore and another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand) with minimum 5 post qualification experience.
Proven experience in handling banking and finance transactions within professional services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction.
A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks effectively.
