Banking: Tax Manager- AVP/VP (Corporate Tax)

*Seeking for a Tax Manager with minimum 6 years of Banking/Financial services Corporate tax experience*

THE COMPANY

With their growth strategy in place, the bank seeks to expand their reach in their business. Currently, they seek for a Tax Manager to be part of their team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure tax compliance for Singapore entity including Financial Sector Incentive (FSI) returns, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS), Domestic Top up tax, Pillar 2 regulations
2. Report and prepare tax returns/filings, provisions, disclosures and deferred tax
3. Review withholding tax, GST, qualifying investment and loan schedules
4. Handle transfer pricing documentation
5. Reply to queries from/liaise with regulators e.g. Head office, Management, IRAS, auditors
6. Support Accounts team for financial closing processes and system implementation/UAT testing
7. Deal with budgeting exercises
8. Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Commerce or ACCA or any other relevant education
2. Minimum 6 years of Banking/Financial services corporate tax exposure
3. Meticulous, diligent, proactive, analytical and a team player
