Job Overview:

We are building a team of skilled, service-focused individuals who are enthusiastic about the F&B and service industry. We are seeking a Barista to support daily operations at our café. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organised, and able to contribute positively to our team dynamic. We value individuals who are eager to contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment, helping us to enhance our services continuously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, food and other beverages to customers using prescribed recipes.


• Provide good customer service and build a good rapport with customers.


• Assist the Cafe Lead in planning new menus and learning preparation techniques for all food and drinks.


• Keep the café area tidy and clean at all times.


• Adhere to health and safety standards and codes.


• Ensure all equipment stays well maintained.


• Sell and share knowledge with customers in an enlightening manner on various ranges of coffee, drinks and food offerings.


• Regulate inventory levels of coffee beans, fruits, pastries, etc. in the café.


• Assist the Cafe Lead in innovating and improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness of the café.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of various types of coffee and tea.


• Prepared to work during weekends and public holidays.


• Able to accommodate shift work.


• Able to communicate in English.


• Customer oriented and service focused.


• Have a passion for music.


• Location is at Clarke Quay.
