Bartender / Mixologist
Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible to: -
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Develop beverage menu and recipe cards for alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
- Restock and replenishes bar supplies
- Ensure proper ordering, daily inventory and the monthly stock count is performed
- Assist in the efficient and cost-effective functioning of the bar
- Attain and exceed the pre-determined budgeted revenue for the department through the provision of excellent service and up-selling
- Ensure the beverage quality and presentation standards are maintained at all times
- Assess the needs and preference of guests and suggest recommendations
- Propose operation changes and improvements that will increase potential profit and decrease loss to the Food and Beverage Department
- Ensure standards of health, safety, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas of outlet area through regular inspection and coaching
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity in the hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of alchololic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Creative and able to think out of the box
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, proactive, self-driven and highly motivated
- Adaptable, determined and someone who wants to be on a fast paced environment that promotes changes and drive for achievements.
