Behavioural Therapist - Exciting Challenge

# Convenient working location in the East

# Salary up to $4000

# 5-day work week: 8.00am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 6.00pm (Mondays to Fridays)

Our client, a therapy centre for children with special needs, is currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join them as a Behaviour Therapist.

Job Responsibilities:

• Study client’s behaviour and apply ABA principles \Develop individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student 
• Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance and track their progress 
• Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect student’s progress and goals 
• Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in students’ behaviour
• Become familiar with and use behavioural redirection techniques 
• Know how to respond to negative behaviours appropriately 
• Provide written documentation on each student
• Communicate progress with managers and parents 

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Psychology/ Early Childhood or equivalent
• 1 year(s) working experience in the related field preferred
• Prior experience in applying ABA principles preferred
