JOB SUMMARY:The BIM Coordinator oversees the development, coordination and quality control of Building Information Modelling (BIM) models across architectural and multidisciplinary project teams. The role ensures consistent application of BIM standards, manages model integration, facilitates clash detection and supports digital workflows for efficient project delivery. The BIM Coordinator acts as a key technical resource, collaborating with consultants, contractors and internal teams to drive accurate, timely and coordinated BIM outputs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, M&E and specialist disciplines to ensure alignment and integration.
• Lead clash detection processes, manage issue logs and guide project teams in resolving coordination conflicts.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, digital workflows and client requirements.
• Review and audit BIM models for accuracy, constructability, completeness and adherence to modelling standards.
• Manage model versions, file exchanges and data organisation following robust digital file management protocols.
• Support project teams by setting up BIM templates, views, schedules and documentation workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and BIM modellers to incorporate design changes and update coordinated models.
• Prepare BIM-based drawings, reports, visualisations and digital deliverables for submissions and presentations.
• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to align BIM requirements, workflows and data exchange formats.
• Conduct BIM onboarding and provide technical guidance to junior BIM staff.
• Support process improvement, automation and digitalisation initiatives within the BIM/Digital Practice team.
• Track BIM progress, deliverables and QC findings for project reporting.
• Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide technical support for Revit, Navisworks and related platforms.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, BIM Technology or related fields.
• 3–6 years of BIM modelling and coordination experience in architectural, engineering or construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; experience with BIM collaboration platforms (ACC/BIM360) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, multidisciplinary coordination and digital workflows.
• Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
