BIM Coordinator (Architectural)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator with a strong architectural background to support multidisciplinary project delivery through effective Building Information Modelling (BIM) coordination. This role is responsible for managing BIM workflows, maintaining model quality, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and Singapore BIM standards, particularly for LTA and major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain federated BIM models across architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and systems disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

• Perform clash detection, model reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination to identify and resolve design conflicts using BIM software.

• Prepare, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in accordance with project requirements, Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), and relevant Singapore BIM standards.

• Develop, manage, and coordinate architectural BIM models, ensuring design intent, model accuracy, and consistency across all project stages.

• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP models to identify spatial clashes, constructability issues, and compliance with project requirements.

• Work closely with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate effective BIM coordination and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a closely related design or engineering discipline.

• BIM-specific certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager Certification, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in a BIM Coordinator or BIM Modeller role within a construction, civil engineering, or architectural consultancy environment.

• Strong architectural background with hands-on experience in developing and coordinating architectural BIM models for complex construction projects.

• Experience on LTA projects (e.g., MRT, LRT, bus interchanges, road, tunnel, or station infrastructure) is highly preferred.

• Architectural background with demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining architectural BIM models on construction projects.
