JOB SUMMARY:The BIM Manager leads the planning, implementation and management of BIM processes for architectural and multidisciplinary projects. The role oversees BIM standards, digital workflows, model coordination, quality assurance and team capability development. The BIM Manager ensures consistent application of BIM principles across projects, drives digital transformation initiatives and serves as the primary technical authority for BIM methodology within the organisation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Develop, implement and maintain BIM standards, protocols, templates and digital workflows across all projects.
• Lead BIM planning efforts, including preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project setup and coordination strategies.
• Oversee model quality, compliance, data integrity and adherence to client, project and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary BIM coordination, including model federation, clash detection, issue resolution and BIM deliverable reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to BIM Coordinators, Modellers and project teams.
• Conduct regular BIM audits, QC checks and digital review processes to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants to ensure aligned BIM workflows and effective data exchange.
• Support project delivery by developing advanced modelling solutions, automation tools and optimisation strategies.
• Oversee organisation of BIM files, version control and digital documentation procedures.
• Train teams in BIM processes, software tools and advanced modelling techniques; support capability development programmes.
• Drive digital innovation initiatives including automation (e.g., Dynamo scripts), content library improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Support tender submissions and proposal materials with BIM methodology explanations, digital capability statements and sample deliverables.
• Coordinate with IT and Digital Practice teams on software upgrades, licensing, hardware requirements and digital infrastructure planning.
• Represent BIM expertise in client, consultant and regulatory coordination meetings.
• Ensure BIM practices comply with project specifications, industry standards and local regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, BIM Technology or related discipline.
• 7–12+ years of BIM experience with at least 3–5 years in a coordination or management role.
• Deep expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM collaboration platforms (ACC/BIM360).
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination, construction methodologies and digital project workflows.
• Proven ability to lead BIM teams, manage complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train BIM staff.
• Experience in BIM automation (Dynamo, scripting) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the built environment, architecture or engineering consultancy sector preferred.
