BIM/CAD Design Engineer

Job Scope:

The person will be collaborating closely with site personnel and be highly involved in the following aspects of the business but not limited to the below:

1. Technical Design & Drafting

• Design and develop 2D drawings based on client design specifications.
• Prepare drawings for submission, including Design, Issued for Construction (IFC), and As-Built.
• Develop 3D models (Revit) and ensure all BIM deliverables adhere to project specifications.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve multidisciplinary coordination issues.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.

2. Engineering Support

• Attend design related meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Perform calculations to determine appropriate pipe sizing, Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for project tender and procurement.
• Conduct site inspections and on-site measurements.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for design information.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in the Semiconductor or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit & Navisworks.
• Keen attention to detail and proactive in solving problems.
• Willingness to engage in both office-based design and hands-on site coordination.
• Working Location: Based on Project Location (Currently @Woodlands)
