The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) is seeking an exceptional Bioinformatician (Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow) to lead and drive cutting-edge research in cancer biology and epigenetics using spatial/single-cell transcriptomics and multi-modal genomic data analysis. This position is offered in the Laboratory of Inflammation, Epigenetics and Translational Oncology which is interested in understanding the mechanisms of metastasis and treatment resistance in aggressive cancers during inflammation signalling. The laboratory integrates approaches in cancer biology, epigenetics and computational biology to study the progression and therapeutic responses of human malignancies and identify novel therapeutic strategies. We focus on the discovery and characterization of novel oncology targets including long non-coding RNAs and epigenomics signatures in various solid and haematological malignancies, with a mission to catalyze a path towards targeted cancer treatments.
We seek a highly motivated scientist with strong expertise in multi-omics integration, cancer genomics and spatial/single-cell transcriptomics to lead the computational strategy for multidisciplinary translational oncology projects. The successful candidate will work closely with clinician scientists and wet-lab researchers to drive high-impact publications and therapeutic target discovery. Candidates are expected to lead research projects and publications, as well as contribute to grant writing and mentoring of junior researchers/PhD or FYP students alongside the PI.
Interested candidates are invited to apply with a cover letter stating your research interests and experience, curriculum vitae and the names and email addresses of three references
