Biomedical Engineer (Support Services) - Hiring Immediately

Job Description

• Develop tender specifications for equipment procurement, participate in pre-purchase tenders, and provide recommendations to stakeholders on the selection of suitable new equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee the installation of biomedical equipment in collaboration with project teams, users, and vendors.
• Conduct commissioning of biomedical equipment and systems to ensure safety and performance compliance with manufacturer specifications, utilizing engineering information, schematic diagrams, and operator manuals.
• Perform administrative roles to ensure that the life cycle management of equipment is appropriately enlisted in the BEMS system
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operational models aligned with NDCS service development, workflow optimization, and emergency response/security protocols.
• Execute procurement and resource allocation plans for biomedical equipment acquisitions.
• Support supervisor in managing equipment service contracts, ensuring contractors fulfill their obligations
• Assist in personnel functions, including staff training and competence assessment, under the direction of supervisor.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic or Electro-mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience with 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar capacity will also be considered.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with ability to motivate teamwork
• Self-motivated with an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and able work in tight datelines environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
