Job Description - Boarding Gate - Interior Design & Project Executive

Job Descriptions:

Space Planning: Create detailed floor plans,layout drawings, 3D renderings to visualize design concepts, andperspective/detailed drawing for retail spaces and space utilization of retail pop-out store/counter/kiosk.

Interior Design: Develop cohesive design schemesthat integrate color, texture, lighting, and accessories to create harmoniousinterior environments. Present design concepts to clients and make revisionsbased on feedback and approvals.

Material Selection: Select furniture, fixtures,finishes, and materials that align with the design concept, budget, and projecttimeline. Source and procure materials from vendors and suppliers, ensuringquality and cost-effectiveness.

ProjectManagement: Manage andcoordinate (a) fit-out of local retail shop and (b) fit-out of counters space. Manageproject timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful projectdelivery. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to overseeproject execution, including construction, installation, and finishing. Constantsourcing of fit out contractors and to manage the tender process and handlevarious trade contractors and suppliers on parallel contract in projectexecution.

Communication:Serve as theprimary point of contact for the company throughout the project lifecycle.Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and budgetary status.

QualityAssurance: Conduct sitevisits and inspections to ensure that design specifications are beingimplemented accurately and according to schedule. Identify and resolve anyissues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction or installationphase. Follow through on all outstanding matters/defect items.

Documentationand Administration: Maintainproject documentation, including contracts, permits, purchase orders, andchange orders. Keep accurate records of project expenses, invoices, andpayments. Prepare and submit renovation plan in accordance to local regulationand specific requirement from respective landlord.

Ideal Profile

1.      Graduates from Architecture, Interior Design,Project/construction management, related building construction/ M&Estudies.

2.      Min two (2) years of experience in project management,preferably in retail industry.

3.      Familiar withArchitectural Drawings.

4.     Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe, Sketchup with Enscape (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator)

5.      Familiar with carpentry, electrical, renovation works and fit-out works.

6.     Creative and have interest inchanging trends in retail space design

7.      Experience in managing multiple projects and dealing with various parties such as Landlord, Contractors/Suppliers, Internal department from merchandising, logistics and space planner.

8.      Positive, commitment and “can-do” attitude.

9.      High integrity, good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.

10.  Good leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

11.  Able to excel under pressure, multi-tasks, handle tight deadline.
