Job Description

• Ensure smooth and safe facility operations, focusing on steam system and auxiliaries.
• Monitor plant status through control systems, including BMS and distributed control systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Lead boiler and plant operators in compliance with treatment processes and emission limits.
• Identify optimization opportunities and support implementation of approved tasks.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for plant operations and maintenance.
• Analyze and report on steam operations data and plant performance regularly.
• Respond to plant upsets and equipment malfunctions swiftly.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and testing for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs in CMMS for equipment safety.
• Monitor facilities for hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety Act compliance.
• Fulfill additional duties assigned by the site manager.

• Holds a Class 2 Steam Engineer registration with MOM.

• Proficient in FMEA, HAZAOP, and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies.
• Possess strong interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate innovative thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Registered First-Aider Certification is advantageous.
• Exhibit a strong safety mindset and adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.
