About the role
To deliver best-in-class brand education, advocacy and engagement programs across Emerging Markets, within Asia (excluding Greater China), the Middle East and Africa, building knowledge, passion and advocacy for Treasury Wine Estates' portfolio of Power Brands and Regional Heroes. The role will partner with commercial and marketing teams to support commercial objectives, drive brand visibility and customer engagement through education, training, events and relationship building.
Brand & Wine Education
- Deliver engaging and commercially relevant education programs across Emerging Markets for TWE's portfolio of premium and luxury brands.
- Build knowledge, confidence and advocacy among internal teams, distributors, customers, trade partners and consumers.
- Deliver brand training, masterclasses, and educational experiences across multiple channels and audiences. Develop, adapt and localise training materials, education resources and presentation content where required. Ensure all education programs and materials are aligned with brand standards, messaging and positioning.
Portfolio Brand Advocacy
- Act as a regional ambassador for TWE's Power Brands: Penfolds, DAOU, Matua
- Champion TWE's Regional Heroes portfolio: Frank Family Vineyards, Beaulieu Vineyard, Stags' Leap Winery, Pepperjack, Squealing Pig, Wynns & Coldstream Hills
- Build awareness and understanding of brand heritage, winemaking, portfolio architecture and key brand stories among internal and external stakeholders.
In-Market Engagement
- Host trade trainings, masterclasses, wine dinners, tastings, media engagements and consumer experiences.
- Develop strong relationships with distributors, customers, trade partners, sommeliers, media and key industry influencers.
- Support market activations and events in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
- Work with market teams to engage and build relationship with the global Chinese community, including wine collectors, connoisseurs and high net worth individuals, to build advocacy and drive sales of TWE's luxury portfolio across Emerging Markets.
Brand Content & Training Development
- Create, adapt and maintain brand education materials, presentations and training resources.
- Support localisation and translation of education materials where required.
- Identify new and engaging ways to improve learning outcomes and capability development across markets.
Brand & Winemaking Liaison
- Be the authority and key point of contact in the region for all stakeholders seeking brand and product information across all Power Brands and Regional Heroes.
- Coordinate with winemakers, Global Brand Ambassador team and brand teams to stay informed on brand developments.
- Support winemaker visits and events across the region.
About you
- WSET Level 3, Certified Sommelier or equivalent wine qualification required.
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communication, Education or similar discipline, or equivalent Experience, Competencies & Skills: Experience in the premium wine industry.
- Strong public speaking, presentation, communication and facilitation skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Experience delivering education, training and brand engagement programs in both English and Mandarin.
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers, distributors and industry stakeholders.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong Mandarin language capability required.
- Experience in Learning & Development or training program development would be advantageous.
