Brand Merchandising, Retail (Merchandising Experience / East / VB / 5 Days) - Professional Developme

Responsibilities:

• Plan/control buying budget by brands/suppliers to achieve great merchandising mix and optimal profitability.
• Source/develop products under house brands that are in line with store positioning.
• Working directly with sales teams & other merchandisers to plan product collections
• Required to liaise with principal brands, collate all orders from corporate sales teams, compile the amount for analysis, process the order and deal with principal brands 
• Constantly source for new exciting brands/merchandise and negotiate for best margin/support/exclusivity.
• Provide product information and conduct product training to sales staff.
• Manage surplus and/or slow-moving merchandise
• Meeting suppliers, generate sales reports and process purchase order, new items creation & generate PO
• Handling production / supply problems as they arise
• Overseeing levels & distribution of stock and preparing stock promotions / price reductions as appropriate

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of merchandising experience.
• Minimum Diploma in any studies 
• Excellent teamwork, communication & interpersonal skills
• Analytical & numerical proficiency
• Administrative, IT & organizational skills
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
