Building Technician - 646939

Responsibilities:

Inspect building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical) regularly to ensure proper functioning.
Perform repairs and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Monitor the performance of key systems and address potential problems proactively.
Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Respond promptly to emergencies, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general issues.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs as needed.

Requirements:

Experience as a Building Technician or similar role.
Strong skills in maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours for emergencies.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
