Bunker Cargo Officer

• Coordinate daily cargo handling activities and produce accurate operational paperwork.
  




• Preserve cargo quality and quantity through consistent checks and proper handling practices.
  




• Execute cargo loading, ex-bunker deliveries, blending, and final delivery in line with company procedures and SS648:2024 where applicable.
  




• Apply custody control measures for onboard cargo storage and all cargo transfer movements.
  




• Track and reconcile inventory onboard, updating the stock movement logbook promptly.
  




• Compile and submit daily ROB reports with timely, precise figures.
  




• Escalate customer complaints or disputes to the Operations Manager without delay.
  




• Support onboard fact-finding and investigations related to cargo issues and discrepancies.
  




• Maintain orderly documentation and ensure records are audit-ready at all times.
  




• Perform additional vessel/operations tasks as assigned to support smooth turnaround.
  

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  


• Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR48) and Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS648:2024).
  


• Minimum 1 year of experience as a bunker clerk/cargo officer onboard bunker tankers.
  


• Working knowledge of cargo custody control, inventory recording, and compliance-led documentation; willing to work shifts and stay onboard when required.
  


• Strong communication skills with a detail-focused, responsible, and follow-through mindset.
