About the Role

IAMA Marine is seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Bunker Surveyors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the marine and bunker industry while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in conducting bunker quantity surveys onboard vessels, preparing survey reports, and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and integrity are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend vessels, barges and related marine facilities to conduct bunker surveys.

• Monitor bunker loading and discharge operations.

• Perform bunker quantity measurements and sampling activities in accordance with SS6000 & SS648 standards.

• Collect, verify, and record operational data accurately.

• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely survey reports.

• Liaise professionally with agents, bunker suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Adhere to company procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.

• Travel to various locations as required to support operational needs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, or a related discipline.

• Flexible with working hours and operational requirements.

• Willing and able to travel at short notice.

• Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

• Physically fit and comfortable boarding vessels and working in marine environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in marine surveying, shipping, bunkering, or maritime operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
