Business Analyst (Product Management / Agile)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in product ownership and Agile methodologies to join our dynamic team.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and our development teams, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. You will serve as a Product Owner within an Agile framework, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development, prioritize features, and facilitate communication.

• Salary Package: Up to $8k (basic) +AWS

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership:

• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions, clarifications, and prioritization.
• Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Continuously refine and evolve the product vision, ensuring it aligns with market trends and customer feedback.

Agile Methodologies:

• Serve as the Product Owner within Agile teams, working closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review sessions, ensuring stories are well-defined and ready for development.
• Monitor and measure the team's progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and adjustments to maximize delivery speed and quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Foster effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant departments.
• Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
• Engage in regular status updates, demos, and retrospectives to facilitate open feedback and continuous improvement.

Requirements Analysis:

• Analyze and synthesize complex business requirements, translating them into clear and concise user stories, functional specifications, and system design documents.
• Validate requirements with stakeholders and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure product functionality meets business expectations.

User-Centric Approach:

• Champion a user-centric mindset, advocating for the best possible user experience and product quality.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that product designs align with user needs and expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 5 years of experiences as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban principles.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in creating detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
• Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and discussions.
• Experience with relevant tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Prior experience in a start up environment is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) are preferred.
