Business Analyst - Wholesale Banking (BI / QlikSense)

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with strong Wholesale Banking domain experience and BI/QlikSense expertise. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technical/architecture teams, gathering and translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.

The candidate must have hands-on exposure to Wholesale Banking domains such as Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Treasury, or Cash Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Wholesale Banking business users to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements
• Conduct workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand reporting and analytics needs
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for BI / QlikSense development teams
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to convert functional requirements into technical designs
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, data mapping documents, and process flows
• Define KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
• Support data validation, UAT coordination, and defect management
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and final BI dashboards
• Drive requirement sign-off and manage change requests
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for BI reporting solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Wholesale Banking
• Strong understanding of:
• Trade Finance
• Corporate / Business Banking
• Transaction Banking
• Treasury / Liquidity Management
• Experience working on BI tools such as QlikSense (preferred) or other BI platforms
• Strong understanding of data models, data warehousing, and reporting concepts
• Ability to translate business requirements into architectural and technical requirements
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, RTM, data dictionaries
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Good to Have

• Knowledge of SQL and data querying
• Experience working with data architects and ETL teams
• Prior experience in Singapore banking environment
