Develop and execute the Company's regional business development strategy to expand its exhibition design and build services.
Identify new business opportunities with multinational corporations, exhibition organisers, event agencies, government bodies, and trade associations.
Lead negotiations for high-value exhibition, event, museum, retail display, and experiential marketing projects.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, strategic partners, venue operators, contractors, and suppliers.
Develop market expansion strategies for Singapore and overseas markets, including participation in international trade exhibitions and industry events.
Collaborate with the design, project management, production, and operations teams to ensure commercial proposals meet client requirements and profitability objectives.
Oversee the preparation of tenders, quotations, commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
Develop annual sales targets, budgets, and revenue forecasts, and monitor business performance against strategic objectives.
Lead and mentor the business development team, establishing KPIs and driving business growth.
Work closely with senior management on strategic planning, branding, and market positioning.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, corporate governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Represent the Company at local and international exhibitions, business networking events, trade fairs, and industry conferences to strengthen market presence.
Prepare periodic reports for the Board of Directors and senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and market performance.
Explore strategic collaborations, joint ventures, and partnerships to enhance the Company's competitive advantage and long-term growth.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or commercial management within the exhibition, events, interior fit-out, or design industry.
Proven track record in developing regional business and managing key corporate accounts.
Strong negotiation, leadership, and project management skills.
