BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXEC (SHIP HUSBANDRY SERVICES)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our ship husbandry business. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with ship owners, operators, managers, and agents, and contribute to the growth of our marine services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the ship husbandry business.
• Identify and pursue new clients, including ship owners, ship managers, charterers, and shipping agencies.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Attend client meetings, maritime exhibitions, and industry networking events.
• Achieve sales targets and prepare regular business development reports.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales within the shipping, maritime, or ship husbandry industry.
• Strong understanding of ship husbandry services, port operations, and marine logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally, if required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Established network within the shipping and maritime industry.
• Experience working with ship owners, vessel operators, or shipping agencies.
• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and port procedures.
