JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our team,supporting regional bid and proposal activities across Southeast Asia, primarily within the data centre sector with additional exposure across commercial, healthcare, and other built-environment sectors.
This role requires an individual who can develop high-quality tender and proposal submissions, and support contract reviews using our standard checklists to flag key risks and commercial terms. The ideal candidate is strong in proposal writing and commercial coordination, with the ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment. Experience in MEP systems, particularly within the data centre sector, and/or exposure to testing & commissioning services, is an advantage.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage bid and proposal preparation, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions
· Review contract documents using the standard contract review checklist to flag key clauses, risks, and commercial terms for management review
· Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including RFP responses and pricing input
· Support pipeline and CRM tracking, flaggingopportunities and stalled bids
· Draft tender queries and clarifications responses during submission stage
· Prepare presentation and submission materials forinternal and client use
REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, BuildingServices, Engineering, Business or related field
· 2–5 years of experience in bid / proposal preparation or business development (MEP preferred)
· Working knowledge of contract terms and ability to apply a contract review checklist to flag risks
· Experience preparing RFP responses, tender submissions, and proposal documentation
· Exposure to MEP systems in data center, commercial, healthcare or similar sector is an advantage; familiarity with testing &commissioning services is a plus
· Strong written and verbal communication skills (client-facing capability)
· High attention to detail with strong documentation skills
PREFERREDBACKGROUND
· Candidates from equipment suppliers ME contractors, or engineering consultancies
· Exposure to data centre, mission-critical projects or other complex/regulated sector projects (e.g. commercial, healthcare)
· Familiarity with procurement, estimation tools, and Excel-based analysis
