Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, landlords, consultants, project managers, and property agents.
Generate qualified leads for office fit-out, workplace renovation, reinstatement, and design & build projects.
Arrange client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
Sales & Client Management
Understand clients' workplace requirements and business objectives.
Prepare and present company profiles, capability statements, and design proposals.
Coordinate with design and project teams to develop concept proposals and budget estimates.
Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Tender & Proposal Management
Monitor tender opportunities and prepare tender submissions.
Coordinate quotations, proposals, contracts, and supporting documents.
Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
Project Coordination
Work closely with designers, project managers, and quantity surveyors during the sales process.
Ensure smooth handover from the sales stage to the project execution team.
Attend project meetings when required.
Support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry trends, workplace design developments, and competitor activities.
Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Gather customer feedback to improve services.
Administrative Duties
Maintain CRM records and update sales activities.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field.
3–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in workplace design, interior fit-out, construction, or commercial real estate.
Strong network within the corporate office, commercial property, or construction industry is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; CRM experience is an advantage.
