As we continue to grow, we are looking for a relationship-driven Business Development Executive to expand our presence within the interior design community and support projects from concept through completion.
Job Description
As a Business Development Executive (Trade Partnerships), you will play a key role in growing coesa's presence within the interior design industry. This is a relationship-driven role where you'll develop partnerships with interior designers, architects and trade professionals, while working closely with homeowners throughout the project journey.
Operating within a B2B2C environment, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and guiding projects from initial consultation through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects and trade partners.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior design industry.
Conduct product presentations and introduce coesa's curated range of curtains, blinds and soft furnishing solutions.
Consult with homeowners and trade partners to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals and project recommendations.
Conduct on-site consultations and assessments, including measurements where required, to support accurate project planning and recommendations.
Manage projects from enquiry and quotation through to negotiation, confirmation and successful closing.
Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and an exceptional customer experience.
Achieve individual performance targets across business development activity, pipeline growth, and project conversion.
Represent coesa professionally at showroom appointments, client meetings, project sites and industry events.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, appreciates thoughtful design, and is proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by building meaningful, long-term relationships.
You should have:
Experience in business development, account management or client-facing sales roles.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in engaging both trade professionals and homeowners.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine passion for developing new business.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong negotiation and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
A willingness to conduct site visits and on-site assessments.
An interest in interior design, architecture or the built environment.
Bonus if you have:
Experience working with interior designers, architects or developers.
Experience in the interior furnishings, renovation, construction or building materials industry.
An existing network within the interior design community.
A valid Class 3 driving licence or access to own transport.
