Position Overview
The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role requires a proactive commercial mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to strategically position the company’s offerings to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue across targeted markets.
Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations to prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, TA, Finance, Marketing) to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine business strategies.
Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and business insights to senior management.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management (preferably in recruitment services/ recruitment agency background). Preferably CEI certified.
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
High commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
