The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in the firm’s corporate consulting practice, specializing in market entry, brand commercialization and experiential retail strategies for the cultural and premium lifestyle sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced artistic expertise and extensive operational experience to advise corporate clients and high-net-wealth individuals on how to effectively bridge traditional culture with modern e-commerce channels and global market expansions.
Strategic Business Consulting: Provide end-to-end strategic advisory to corporate clients looking to develop, position, and launch premium lifestyle or cultural brands in the regional market.
E-commerce Brand Commercialization: Diagnose client business models and formulate comprehensive strategies for visual identity, digital storytelling, and brand positioning across major e-commerce platforms.
Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive consumer behavior research and feasibility studies within the premium cultural consumption sector to guide clients' investment and expansion decisions.
Stakeholder Management: Present high-impact consulting frameworks to C-suite executives and international business partners, maintaining robust professional networks to drive the firm's portfolio growth.
Education: Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, Cultural Studies, Arts Management, Business Management or an equivalent high-level creative discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven operational management experience within premium cultural establishments, art institutions, or experiential commercial entities.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in overseeing end-to-end business entity operations (including budget management, personnel leadership, and client acquisition) and a solid understanding of converting intellectual capital into scalable commercial products.
Aesthetic & Brand Acumen: Profound expertise in traditional and contemporary aesthetics, with the ability to translate cultural heritage into high-value commercial and digital assets.
Consultative Problem Solving: Strong capability in value-based selling, business process framework design, and pitching market-entry strategies to corporate investors.
Mobility & Travel Flexibility: Be willing and flexible to travel frequently across the region (e.g., China, Southeast Asia) for international client consultations, vendor sourcing, and overseas supply chain management.
Communication & EQ: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, comfortable managing complex dynamics in executive environments.
