Job Description - Business Development Manager - Translation & Localisation Services (APAC)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our global Sales function. You will sit within our well-established APAC team and as a BDM, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships, from prospecting clients to close. You will own the entire sales cycle, determining key stakeholders across a range of verticals of mid to large size businesses.


Duties & Responsibilities:


· Deliver against revenue targets and KPIs in line with company strategy


· Develop new revenue-generating opportunities through a number of strategies


· Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline


· Take responsibility for effective revenue forecasting for leads and pipeline


· Set up meetings and own entire sales cycle from lead generation to close


· Ability to confidently pitch Fluently offering to senior stakeholders client-side


· Ability effectively communicate Fluently’ s services and products and showcase value to clients


· Contribute to developing sales reports for the Leadership team


· Provide Sales and Leadership teams with industry insights and regular updates on overall progress on sales campaigns


· Build and foster a partnership with clients, assist with effective onboarding and collaborate with clients for continuous improvement


· Adhere to ISO requirements with regards to responsiveness with clients and overall business processes


· Champion a revenue growth mentality across Fluently


· Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when overcoming obstacles


Skills & Experience:


· Fluent in written and spoken English


· 3 years plus experience in a sales-based role (technology and localisation experience a plus but not necessary)


· Proven track record of achieving sales targets


· Sales orientated mindset with the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately under pressure


· Analytical and problem-solving skills


· High level of Microsoft Office Suite competency


· Strong commercial awareness and high level of numeracy


· Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills


· Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills


· Experience with CRM Tools and Business Management System
