Job Title: Business Development Manager (ID1532)
Location: Changi, walking distance from MRT
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
Salary: $4000 - $5000 depend on experience
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
• Identify and target potential customer in the logistics sector through market research, networking, and cold calling
• Hunt and win new opportunities with a focus on small and medium size customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers, and distributors
• Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements
• Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Prepare quotes and RFQs, offer best solutions according to customer’s needs and in close collaboration with Operational team
• Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
• Proven track record of success in business development, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation services
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales deals effectively
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, with a proactive and results-driven attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
