About the Opportunity

Talentbolt is partnering with a leading global provider of risk management, security, and business resilience solutions to hire a Business Development Manager / Director.

Our client supports multinational organizations in protecting their people, assets, operations, and reputation through integrated solutions across security risk management, crisis response, travel risk, intelligence, and business resilience.

As part of its continued expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, the company is seeking an experienced and commercially driven business development professional to drive new client acquisition and strategic growth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional who enjoys opening new markets, building executive relationships, and closing complex enterprise deals.

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across Singapore and the wider APAC region, working with organizations across sectors such as corporate enterprises, insurance, healthcare, government, travel, and professional services.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, consultative in their sales approach, and passionate about helping clients solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across Singapore and the APAC region.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities within corporate, insurance, healthcare, government, travel, security, and related industries.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities through proactive business development activities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-suite executives, procurement leaders, and key decision-makers.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue and market penetration.
  • Lead client presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions through to successful closure.
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and solution teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation at industry conferences, networking events, and customer engagements across the region.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Strategic Account Management.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling services or solution-based offerings into enterprise clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sales and new business development.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the APAC region when required.

Preferred

Experience in one or more of the following industries will be highly regarded:

  • Security or risk management
  • Business resilience

  • Professional or consulting services
  • Insurance
  • Healthcare
  • Travel risk
  • Government solutions
  • Technology or SaaS

In addition, the following would be advantageous:

  • Existing network with multinational corporations or regional enterprise clients.
  • Experience working in a regional or international business environment.
  • Understanding of technology platforms, data integration, and emerging AI solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Risk Management, Security Studies, or a related discipline.
