Background
Auristone is an Asian-based epigenomic profiling company with data analytics capabilities that spun out from Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) in 2021 with the vision to be the largest curator of Asian Epigenomic database to drive epigenomic discoveries.
The company flagship product EPI-Call™ is a chemo-sparing predictive test for responders to immunotherapy. It integrates our proprietary Alternate Promoter Burden (APB) platform and proprietary algorithm, which is developed in-house and validated using over five hundred (500) patient samples.
We are currently seeking a Business Development & Sales Specialist that would participate in forging and executing the company's marketing and branding strategies to join this new effort in building the epigenomics database engine to drive novel therapies and diagnostics.
The candidate will work closely with the core team members to plan and execute marketing, and branding strategies to drive the business development efforts for the company and will work with relevant and key external stakeholders to further the company’s aims and interests. The candidate will work with current and potential customers to develop strategic partnerships as well. The candidate will be involved in product development strategy, branding, innovation activities, and commercialization efforts. The role will provide a unique opportunity to traverse across different functional roles while leveraging on the candidate’s prior business and/or marketing experience.
Job scope
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and identify sales leads or business opportunities in Asia
- Developing go to market plans and executing said plans in Asia
- Working with product owners to develop commercial pipelines
- Support clinical and product development team to ensure success of ongoing commercial and clinical projects
- Work closely with the core team members to plan and execute sales and business development strategies
- Prepare and maintain marketing collateral materials, including prints, slides, EDMs, etc
- Maintain relationships with current and potential customers through regular communications
- Maintain stakeholder, sales, branding, and marketing trackers and implement strategies to enhance business performance and efficiency
- Report business prospects and status updates to company management
- Present clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings
Job Requirements
- Degree in a biology related field e.g., Life-science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Molecular biology, genetics, etc. with 3-5 years of sales, marketing, business development, sales, or other relevant experience in healthcare or biotechnology. Working experience in these fields will also be highly considered.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
