Business Development Specialist (Asset Management)

Key Scope:

• Drive business development efforts by establishing and maintaining strong client relationships and networks across financial industries.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process: client visits, investment presentations, due diligence, mandate closures, and follow-up engagements.
• Customize presentation materials to suit business development objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

• Bachelor Degree in Finance / CFA Professional qualification preferred
• 5 to 8 years of asset management industry experience or general financial services experience.
• Prior BD experience across APAC markets would be highly valued.
• Demonstrated success in winning new business and mandate finals.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and adaptable with a positive mindset.
• Familiarity with market product research and business development planning.
• Team player with a pleasant and collaborative personality.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese; confident in presenting, pitching, and building rapport with Chinese stakeholders.
