The Role:

Step into the hive as our Business & Events Experience Manager, where you’ll serve as the primary keeper for our warm leads, nurture our existing client relationships, identify new opportunities for growth, and be the go-to for event planning and creative ventures. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Singapore, buzzing with a team of dedicated event planners, coordinators, and technical staff. Together, you'll produce high-quality events and creative outputs that meet and exceed the needs of Merry Bees’ clients. With a competitive base salary plus commissions and performance bonuses, our hive ensures you’re well rewarded for your hard work.

Envision a typical client meeting:

• “It's a solid start, but it hasn’t quite hit the mark for me.” 
• “Could we possibly explore additional concepts within our budget’s constraints?” 
• “Can you help us source this from taobao and set it up?” 
• “Can you convince your designers to have this animation ready by tomorrow? My CEO wants to see it tomorrow afternoon.” 
• “We only have $XXX, could you please convince her to accept the gig?” 
• "What? But we needed it yesterday?"

Can you maintain your cool, offer a warm smile, and smoothly handle these situations with swift and diplomatic responses?

Between generating innovative ideas, managing client communications, and liaising with suppliers, you’re responsible for overseeing every detail to ensure projects are completed on time on-site at 5-star hotels and convention centres.

The ideal candidate is assertive, self-reliant, and ingenious, with exceptional multitasking skills and a deep well of insightful judgement. A dynamic personality and superior interpersonal skills are crucial.

Essential Qualifications:

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality or a related field.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• A friendly disposition, teamwork-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite

Responsibilities:

• Stellar salesmanship, account management and client service.
• Creatively design and plan events in alignment with client specifications.
• Ensure effective coordination with internal teams and external partners for seamless event execution.
• Meticulous and oversee projects comprehensively from administrative tasks to workflow management.
• Be actively involved in event execution and delivery.
