Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Analyst. In this role, you will work with complex datasets to uncover insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyse large, structured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.

• Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL, Python, or R.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, KPIs, and reporting requirements.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Preferred Power BI).

• Document user stories, data flow diagrams, and data standards.

• Provide technical support for reporting solutions and troubleshoot data issues.

• Ensure data accuracy and validate results through audits and quality checks.

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.

• Maintain and update BI documentation and self-service guides.

• Leverage GenAI and AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, generate insights, automate repetitive reporting tasks, and improve productivity while ensuring outputs are reviewed for accuracy and business relevance.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in a data analyst, BI analyst, BI Developer or similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in BI tools: Power BI

• Experience in visualizing and presenting analytical results effectively.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with data analysis, extraction and transformation.

• Familiarity with Python for data analysis and modelling.

• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, database structures, and ETL processes.

• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive modelling, and optimization techniques is good.

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with GenAI/AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for data analysis, documentation, insight generation, and workflow automation.

• Ability to interpret and communicate outputs from AI/ML models.
