Business Manager

Position Summary

The Business Manager is responsible for identifying strategic investment opportunities, leading investment projects, supporting corporate strategy development, and driving business growth through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor global market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify strategic investment opportunities.
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and feasibility studies for potential investment projects.
• Lead the planning, evaluation, approval, and execution of major investment initiatives, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and optimize financial models for investment analysis, including financial forecasting, valuation, due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with business units and senior management to formulate corporate strategies and align investment decisions with long-term business objectives.
• Participate in post-investment management by monitoring project performance, evaluating investment outcomes, and ensuring strategic and financial targets are achieved.
• Prepare investment proposals, business cases, and management reports to support executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment, or related disciplines.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market trends, industry opportunities, and business growth potential.
• Proficient in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, investment analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to independently manage complex projects from evaluation through execution.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate strategy, business development, consulting, or related fields will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
